Tamil M.A. album which was released last week, I mean officially, is still not available at stores. While I was under the impression that the label Big Music released its Kannaamoochi Enadaa only a few weeks back and doing brisk business, they did not want to clash with it. But news came out in the media yesterday and today is a shocker. Seems like there is tussle between two audio companies, Big Music and Hungama, for acquiring audio rights. Big Music bids more than Hungama at every possible occasion. Once it gets the deal, they will release it whenever they want just to prove a point that they are indeed Big. Come on, guys, if you do this, you will be a big loser. People have already downloaded the songs on the net and I don’t think people who got hold of good quality mp3s will come to the store and buy it. Yuvan filed a complaint against Big Music at the producer’s council yesterday and asked them to solve the matter. But time is running out since the movie is releasing on 28th of this month. So he was fasting this morning with director Raam and actor Dhanush at Nungambakkam. Finally the guys from Big Audio came, listened to them and promised that the album will be available at stores tomorrow. I don’t think Yuvan will want his future albums coming through Big Music.

Na.Muthukumar has done a fabulous job in Tamil M.A. songs. His words are so profound and powerful. In recent times, we have not heard lyrics like this for sure.

Tamil M.A. audio was released on September 10th. Big Music, the same audio company released Kannaamoochi Enadaa, is releasing this album too. Till date, the album is not available in stores. There are five tracks in it and all of them are just too good. This could be the album of the year. The movie Tamil M.A. starring Jeeva (as Prabhakar) has an interesting plot. He has been acting in different characters since his Raam movie. A debutant director, Raam, has directed the movie and from the preview it looks like an offbeat film. The landscapes are just beautiful and I hope the movie brings something new to the tamil movie screen. It is releasing on coming September 28th.
