The movie Kettavan is again bringing Yuvan and Simbu together. Their earlier projects, Manmathan and Vallavan, were musically huge hits. Yuvan has already composed 5 songs for this movie during their recent trip to bangkok. In this week’s Ananta Vikatan, Simbu says that without even taking a penny, Yuvan just went with him to Bangkok and composed tunes showing his trust on him. They have remixed Raakaala velaiyile (a song from T.Rajendar’s yesteryear soundtrack) for this movie. We can expect another enjoyable and youthful soundtrack from this team.

The shooting for this movie starts today. The film is produced by Bharatham Films and the director is Nandu. Simbu writes the story, screenplay and dialogues. SS Music Lekha is the leading lady.

Thottal Poo Malarum, the new soundtrack from Yuvan was released by Saregama recently. IMO, they have done very poor marketing so far. Lot of Yuvan fans are complaining that they couldn’t get their copies in the audio shops. I was able to buy the original and here are the 2 min clips of all songs for the desparate fans.
